Here are some frequently asked questions about a newborn session at the studio !

When is best to book your newborn session?

It’s never too early to book your newborn session to get in on my calendar. You will receive a tentative date for your session based on your due date and when your baby arrives we will book your session date. When you decide to book I will send you all the information you need to be fully informed and prepared for our session together.

How soon do you come in for your session?

Newborn sessions take place within the first 2-3 weeks of your baby’s life.  They are still very sleepy and I am able to pose them in those squishy, snuggled up poses that everyone loves so much.  A couple days before your session I will send along a prep guide that lists a few things to help you prepare your new baby and yourself for our session.  We are a full service boutique studio.  You really just need to show up with your baby and their food (breast or bottle) and I will take care of the rest!

How long does a newborn session take?

A newborn session can last anywhere between 2-3 hours depending on the baby.  I allow plenty of time for soothing during these sessions. Every baby is different and all sessions can take differ

Should I bring an outfit for baby?

At Oh So Savvy Photography we are a full service, boutique studio. You don’t have to worry about bringing anything fr baby to wear I provide all the cute outfits, wraps, and props ! We will work together to create the look and feel you are going for.

What should parents/siblings wear? 

Simple is Best !  I suggest to wear Neutral colours, white/cream/tans, greys. We offer a studio wardrobe too available for Mamas & Littles
